Hi there and welcome to Mouse & Maize. By exploring our website or placing an order, you’re agreeing to the guidelines below (and to our Privacy Policy). We’ve kept things as clear and simple as possible; no scary fine print, just the basics so everyone’s on the same page.
1. Using Our Site
To shop with us, you need to be the legal age to make purchases where you live. Please make sure your details (like shipping and payment info) are correct - it helps us get your order to you smoothly.
2. Our Creations
Every piece we make is photographed and described with care, but screens don’t always capture colours or textures perfectly. Some pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited runs. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
3. Orders & Payments
When you hit “buy,” you’re offering to purchase that item. We’ll confirm once payment goes through. If for some reason we can’t complete your order, we’ll let you know right away. All purchases follow our Refunds & Returns Policy.
4. Pricing
All prices are in [AUD]. They may change from time to time. Taxes, shipping, or customs fees (if relevant) will be added at checkout.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We pack everything with care and send it from Bundaberg, Queensland. Delivery times are estimates - once your order is with the courier, it’s in their hands. You can find more detail in our Shipping Policy.
6. Creative Rights
All artwork, designs, and content on this site are the heart and soul of Mouse & Maize. Please don’t copy, reproduce, or use them without permission.
7. Third-Party Tools & Links
Sometimes we use third-party apps or link to other websites. We can’t control those spaces, so use them at your own discretion.
8. Privacy & Your Info
We only collect the info we need to process your orders and improve your experience. You can read how we handle this in our Privacy Policy.
9. Feedback & Reviews
We love hearing from you! By sharing feedback, reviews, or ideas, you’re giving us permission to use them (without compensation). We may edit or remove content if it goes against these terms.

Refunds & Returns — Mouse & Maize

We want you to love your art. If there’s a problem, here’s how returns work:
Refunds
All sales of original paintings and commissioned artwork are final and non-refundable. Due to the unique nature of these pieces, I cannot accept returns or offer refunds.
Change of mind
We do not accept change of mind returns.
Faulty, Damage or Lost Artworks
If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or significantly not as described you’re entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (repair, replacement or refund depending on severity). Please contact us within 30 days at mouseandmaize@gmail.com with photos and order number.
If your order is lost in transit, please contact me via email at mouseandmaize@gmail.com, and I will assist you in tracking it. Refunds for lost packages will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Processing time
Orders ship within 2 weeks unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Delivery
Domestic (Australia): estimated 3–7 business days depending on location and courier.
International: times vary; customs/import duties are the buyer’s responsibility.
Delivery to door is available for people living in the Bundaberg area - please contact Ella directly through the contact page, via email at mouseandmaize@gmail.com to organise delivery.
Lost or damaged items
If your parcel is lost or damaged, email mouseandmaize@gmail.com with your order number and photos. We’ll work with you and the courier to resolve the issue.
Shipping Price
Australian orders ONLY - free shipping.
International shipping is calculated on a case-by-case basis, and is currently not available through my website. For international customers, please contact Ella directly through the contact page or via email at mouseandmaize.com and we can organise shipping to you. Thank you for your understanding!
Packaging
Depending on the size of the artwork and whether it is framed or unframed, it will either be shipped flat, or rolled in a heavy-duty tube.
For artworks that are sent in a tube, it is the responsibility of the buyer to organise framing at your own expense.
Each artwork is carefully packaged with protective materials to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
For listed original artworks on the website, how the artwork will be shipped is included in the description.
For commissions, Ella will discuss with the buyer how they would like the artwork to be packaged (unframed canvas, custom framed canvas, or a canvas roll for the buyer to frame after delivery).
