Meet the Artist

In my childhood, when someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I answered “an artist!”. It wasn’t until high school that the reality of “life” kicked this dream to the wayside, and I pursued a more practical profession. But art never left my side; it’s been a constant cornerstone in my life, an occupation that has always provided an escape from reality, a place to find joy and colour, and a quiet solitude for some "me time”.

Now, as an almost 30-year-old mum and fairly burnt out health professional, art has called my name to be front and centre. So, here I am honouring my 5-year-old self, and myself today, to start doing something that I love that has been with me for my whole life.

My art isn’t just something to fill a space; it’s a feeling & a reflection of my journey to find joy and a little zest in the simple things.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here!
