Hi! I’m Ella.

I’m a mama and healthcare worker with a passion for art and creativity. Mouse & Maize was born from a deep love of using art and craft as a way of slowing down, tuning-in to yourself, and finding small gaps of time for joy and connection.

I fell back in love with art over the last couple of years - finding pockets of time to tune out from the business of the world and create something that is an escape from reality.

My art is an extension of my love for using colour to brighten a space and mood, and coming back to a feeling of childhood wonder.
